Ideal for pre-fixing corrugated pipes: Our new corrugated pipe holders

HellermannTyton: Ms. Haag, what prompted HellermannTyton to develop a suitable holder for corrugated pipes?

Nane Haag: Our aim was to develop a corrugated pipe holder to make the everyday working lives of our clients easier. The main focus was on the areas of control cabinet construction and mechanical and plant engineering, but the new corrugated pipe holders are actually suited to all manner of applications.

HellermannTyton: What was the specific focus of development? Could you give us an example?

Nane Haag: To give one example, we wanted to improve releases for users. This product makes that possible: our pipe holders are easy to release with a conventional screwdriver.

HellermannTyton: In your view, what are the main benefits for the customer?

Nane Haag: Ease of release using a screwdriver is definitely one key point. Another advantage is the fact that there is a fixing point for cable ties on both sides. This makes the routing of additional cables or wiring a possibility. The corrugated pipe holders also have a recess for an additional cable, such as an earth cable.  

HellermannTyton: What kind of customer feedback have you received on the new CTTC-IWS holders?

Nane Haag: It has been very positive. Aside from ease of release, our customers particularly appreciate being able to pre-fix the cover when open. We achieve this by means of a narrow opening and an additional rib.

HellermannTyton: Which corrugated pipe do you recommend for this product?

Nane Haag: Our portfolio includes suitable IWS corrugated pipes of polyethylene for the four different CTCC-IWS holder sizes. These are highly flexible and offer good abrasive resistance. Both the holder and the corrugated pipes are halogen-free, so they meet the requirements for all kinds of application fields.
