Vahid, why is HellermannTyton's cable pulling aid "a solution to almost every problem" in electrical installation?

The CableScout+ is a tailor-made system that helps electrical installers with their main problem - pulling a cable from A to B. The CableScout+ offers few "bells and whistles", but is purely adapted to the needs of the electrician. The system has also been on the market for many years. The many years of quality speak for themselves. We have never made any major changes to the original system, but have simply added accessories to it. As a result, it covers the relevant applications of an installer, such as cable pulling in suspended ceilings. Alternatively, it also finds its use in empty conduits or cable ducts.

Why do you think every electrician needs a CableScout+?

In today's world, every electrical installer is regularly confronted with the expansion and move-in of cables. Whether in new buildings or renovations, the number of installed cables is increasing. In addition, the installation of ceiling spots and the conversion to LED in smaller and smaller diameters are increasing. As a result, the demands on the electrical installer are also increasing, especially in terms of subsequent installations and time management. Like a cordless screwdriver or a wire stripper, it is impossible to imagine a construction site without the CableScout+. The system helps the installer to work quickly, reliably and safely.

What distinguishes our system from conventional cable pulling aids?

I describe our system as a mature product of proven quality, which we have had in our range for over 10 years. It is robust and the longevity of the CableScout+ ensures a very good price-performance ratio. The considerable time savings mean that the product pays for itself in just a few applications. In addition, electricians appreciate the compact system. Sometimes less is more. We have only included the necessary accessories in our sets and have dispensed with others. The + in the name stands for an expandable system. It is up to the user to decide which accessories he needs. This allows everyone to create their own individual set.

"For me, the products that are relevant are those that support the electrician in searching, finding and transporting cables without drilling holes or opening ceilings. Accordingly, the hook, pulling stocking and magnet in combination with the sliding attachment is essential for me."

When and how are the accessories used?

Depending on the type or situation, the electrician can choose his accessories. Not every installer needs all accessories or uses them equally intensively, however, especially the luxury set covers most of his applications. Sensitive cables made of silicone or rubber, which must not be kinked, tend to need the pulling sock. While robust cables often work with loops and can thus be pulled with the help of the hook. The rods are also chosen based on the application as well as the personal feeling of the installer. These can be combined as desired.

The magnet assists with lost tools or removing screws from empty tubes. The LED light provides an overview when looking for objects or lost cables. Finally, my absolute highlight - the sliding attachment. In my eyes, every electrician needs a sliding attachment. With its help, pulling cables over uneven surfaces becomes child's play.
